Indrayani Thadi Jatra also can be referred as Fair or Festival is a yearly event happening in the month of January in Bhosari, Pune, India. This is a wonderful platform to support & motivate entrepreneurship and enhance women empowerment. In this Jatra(fair) you can experience the Maharashtrian culture and also enjoy Maharashtrian food. There are numerous stalls at the event and you can enjoy food at any stall and the prices are also reasonable or can say within the budget. Another best part about the Indrayani Thadi Jatra is that there are no entry fees.
Indrayani Thadi Jatra 2023
This Jatra took place from 25th January 2023 to 29th January 2023 at Gav Jatra Maidan, Bhosari, Pune in India. It was jam packed with a lot of events and the timings were morning 10 am to 10 pm. The Gav Jatra maidan(ground) is a huge ground just in front of the Bhosari Sahal Kendra Garden or Udyan. This Jatra is very much grand and unique when you compare it with other jatras in the city like Bhimthadi Jatra & Pavnathadi Jatra. We have visited all these Jatras and made some wonderful videos for you.
Apart from the food stalls there are many other stalls for shopping. There was also a wonderful section of Gramsanskruti. In this section we can feel and enjoy the village culture of Maharashtra. The best part is that there is no registration required to the Jatra and you can just walk in and enjoy this beautiful Jatra.

When you enter the Jatra you see an amazing Shree Ram Madir made near the entrance. There is also Jijaumata and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue. This event is organized by Shivanjali Sakhi Manch which is concept by MLA Mahesh Dada Landge. When you enter the Jatra you can listen to awesome songs like MERE BHARAT KA BACHHA BACHHA JAI SHREE RAM BOLEGA. It was a fun and mesmerizing evening for sure.
When you go ahead you can see the Weapons in the era of Shiv Chatrapati Maharaj. So you can see all the various different weapons which were used in the historic wars. There were statues of great Maratha Warriors which fought for the freedom also known as Swaraj for the Maharashtrians. There was also a model of a fort showcased in the venue.
In the Gramsanskruti Section you can see the village life depicted of the Bhojapur village in Haveli Taluka of Pune. There were rural activities going on which we captured in our vlog. Must watch vlog below of the Jatra if you want to see the Gramsanskruti.
There were various rides for children in the Jatra. It was a complete fun for children as they can enjoy various Mela rides. There was also a Giant Ferry wheel for kids. As we had visited on a Sunday it was full crowd at the Jatra. This Jatra is a Maharastrian food festival. There are plenty of options in food. Most of the stalls were food stalls. We will list down what all we remember was available at the Jatra.
